NMHS Girls Soccer

On a special New Milford Day, the Knights delivered a stellar performance, defeating Leonia 5-1. The match began with Casey DiGirolamo opening the scoring for New Milford with a powerful shot from outside the box. Leonia quickly responded, managing to tie the game before halftime. The second half saw the Knights elevate their play. Casey DiGirolamo was unstoppable, scoring two more goals to secure her first career hat-trick, with an assist from Sabrina Carvalho. Building on the momentum, Elona Bekdas added another goal to the scoreboard, with a well-placed assist from Ashleigh Kaminski. Mary Shabo capped off the victory with a final goal, assisted by Bekdas.
